OMG❣️. I loved the story of Tobias & Alvira who meet in Bear Grass Springs, Montanaa in 1889❣️. They’re a mature couple; he owns the Mercantile & is a long time resident, she is the newly arrived school mistress! You will adore Ramona’s charming characters & how beautifully she describes everything from the schoolchildren, their funny antics as well as dealing with the class bully to the townfolk, both good & bad‼️ Ms Flightner paints a picture with her descriptions of Montana Territory & it’s obvious she is delighted with her own life in Montana - just look at the pics she posts in her newsletters❣️😍.
Alvira has had a painful life of lost love & deep betrayal that has made her standoffish & allows her to fear & mistrust others (no matter how friendly& kind) to ruin her chance of the happy life she yearns for! Tobias has been the town curmudgeon for 20 years wanting everybody to be as miserable as he was‼️. Due to his past mistakes he was estranged from his family & friends until recently when his grown daughter arrived bringing love to his life & making him a new man! He now wants more for himself & hopefully with Alvira❣️😍.
